From 1st to 4th June 2010, IUCN-Papaco, in collaboration with the IUCN French and Netherlands committees and the Banc d’Arguin International Foundation (FIBA) organized in Ouagadougou a forum of West Africa environmental NGOs under the theme: “Local NGOs: place, role, experiences and future in Protected areas management in West Africa”. This event has brought together representatives of 34 NGOS and local associations from 14 West African countries, local collectivities and other resource persons.
